I am an artist who works mainly in oil paint , drawing and print. My oil paintings are mostly based on landscape. I like to work in quite a broad direct manner aiming to convey the character of the landscape. I enjoy responding to different types of landscape.
I am interested exploring different ways of working. I usually use sketches or studies made on site as the starting point for paintings. I often rework my canvases, painting over and scraping off until I feel the painting is finished.
